DataSift ("DataSift," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by DataFlik, Inc. d/b/a DataSift, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding that information.

By using www.datasift.ai or the DataSift application (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Information you provide directly. Name, email address, phone number, company name, billing information, and any other information you submit through our forms (including the schedule-a-demo form, contact forms, support requests, and account registration).

Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. Information from integration partners, payment processors, and analytics providers that you have authorized to share information with us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services;
  • Process transactions and send related information;
  • Send service-related communications (account notices, appointment reminders, scheduling updates, support replies);
  • Send marketing and promotional messages where you have opted in;

3. SMS / Text Messaging Privacy

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from DataSift, the following terms apply to that information:

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • All categories of personal information that DataSift collects exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this opt-in information will not be shared with any third parties.
  • Mobile information shared with subprocessors that help us deliver the Services (for example, our messaging service provider) is used solely to deliver the messages you have requested and for no other purpose.
  • You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@datasift.ai.
  • Message frequency varies (typically 1–4 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers and subprocessors. We share information with vendors who help us deliver the Services (hosting, payment processing, analytics, messaging delivery, customer support tooling). These providers are contractually obligated to use information only to perform services for us.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DataSift, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If DataSift is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer.

With your consent. We share information with other third parties when you direct us to do so.

We do not share SMS opt-in information or mobile phone numbers collected for messaging purposes with any third party for that party's own marketing.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and to improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are retained while you remain opted in and for a reasonable period after opt-out to honor your unsubscribe request.

  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your information;
  • Opt out of marketing communications;
  • Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.

California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

8. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. International Users

DataSift is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email.
